The EVO-2R starts as a solid billet of forged aluminum, milled entirely in-house at Vossen's Miami facility using CNC equipment. The face, barrel, and mounting hub are carved from a single continuous piece of material, removing the hardware and seam lines of multi-piece construction. What remains is a wheel with uniform load distribution across every spoke and no assembly variables affecting long-term structural performance.

Vossen EVO-2R Design & Engineering: Five-Spoke Split Compound Curvature

The split spoke design of the EVO-2R uses a compound curve that transitions from the hub face to the outer rim diameter, creating a natural concave profile without requiring a custom or deep-concave forging. This allows the wheel to maintain a strong spoke section through the face while still producing the visual depth expected of a high-end forged design. The result works equally well on the standard-clearance fitments of sport sedans and the wide-arch builds of performance SUVs.

The EVO-2R suits Porsche 911, Cayman, and Boxster across most generations, BMW M2/M3/M4/M5, Audi RS3/RS4/RS5, and Mercedes-AMG C63/E63. The fitment programme covers most European sport and GT cars from 2010 onward. Bolt pattern, offset, and centre bore are specified per vehicle - no universal fitments.
