Design and Engineering: M-X Series Spoke Architecture with Three-Piece Assembly

The M-X6 (3-Piece) shares its spoke design language with the M-X6 monoblock - a multi-spoke layout with pronounced face concavity and tight barrel integration. In three-piece construction, the face plate is bolted to the inner and outer barrel sections through a full perimeter of hardware, enabling width configurations that would be structurally or geometrically impractical in a single-piece forging. The M-X Series originated with the ML-X2 and its mono-lip feature, expanding across several spoke iterations of which the M-X6 represents the most recent. Three-piece construction also allows independent barrel refinishing and face plate replacement, relevant for long-term ownership where individual components may show different wear patterns. Vossen's proprietary forging design includes extra material on the face to accommodate concave profiles from flat to super-deep - an 8.5" width can achieve maximum concavity equal to a 12.5" configuration. All 48 custom colours from Vossen's finish catalogue are available for custom orders, including the Transparent series (tinted clears from Midnight Smoke to Biscayne Blue) and the Solid series (opaque coatings from Matte Black to Imperial Gold). Custom colour matching to OEM paint codes and Pantone references is supported for both face and barrel finish.
