NOVITEC x Vossen Series 21: How the Collection Works

The NOVITEC x Vossen Series 21 programme emerged from a direct collaboration between two companies focused on the same market: NOVITEC, the leading manufacturer of performance and styling upgrades for exotics, and Vossen, whose in-house forging and CNC facility in Miami produces wheels to TUV-verified standards. Series 21 is not a catalogue product line - it is a build-to-order programme where each wheel is configured to the buyer's exact vehicle. Bolt pattern, center bore, and offset are machined per car using data captured from over 100 measurement positions around the vehicle. This level of precision is necessary because the low-clearance wheel arches on Ferrari, Lamborghini, and McLaren models require offsets that standard catalogue wheels cannot accommodate. The NF9 represents Series 21's interpretation of a multi-spoke architecture - maximising visual complexity while maintaining the structural integrity demanded by high-output powertrains.

Vossen NF9 Design and Engineering: Multi-Directional Spokes with Pronounced Shadow Depth

The NF9 is characterised by individual spokes that radiate outward with a directional taper and slight angular offset from centre, producing overlapping shadow geometry that changes character depending on the viewer's angle. At narrower widths the spoke faces are relatively flat; as width increases toward 12.5 inches, the face geometry transitions into a pronounced concavity that becomes the visual centrepiece of the wheel. The spoke roots are positioned lower relative to the barrel lip compared to other Series 21 designs, which creates a deeper perceived bowl. In translucent finishes such as Gloss Clear, the CNC-machined grain of the 6061-T6 aluminium is visible through the coating, giving the surface a textured, technical quality. In Stealth Grey, the muted metallic tone amplifies the shadow contrast between the machined spoke faces and the recessed areas between them. NOVITEC x Vossen co-branding is engraved on the barrel during final CNC finishing at Vossen's Miami facility.

Vossen NF9 Available Finishes

Two standard finishes are available at Hodoor Wheels: Stealth Grey - a semi-metallic grey with a satin quality that preserves some CNC surface grain through the coating without full transparency - and Gloss Clear - a high-gloss transparent lacquer applied over the raw machined aluminium, revealing every detail of the CNC work beneath. Both finishes are applied at Vossen's Miami facility as part of the production sequence. Vossen's full custom colour palette - 48 options across the Transparent series (tinted clears from Midnight Smoke to Biscayne Blue) and the Solid series (opaque coatings from Matte Black to Imperial Gold) - is available to order on all NF9 configurations. Custom colour matching to OEM paint codes and Pantone references is supported.
