Vossen UV-1 - The Original Forged Monoblock from the Urban Automotive x Vossen Series

Vossen UV-1 is a forged monoblock wheel and one of the first two designs to emerge from the Urban Automotive and Vossen collaboration, launched in 2018. Developed exclusively for Range Rover and Land Rover platforms, the UV-1 combines Vossen's precision forged manufacturing with Urban Automotive's expertise in bespoke SUV styling.

Urban Automotive x Vossen UV-1: The Origin of the Collaboration

In 2018, Urban Automotive and Vossen announced a formal design collaboration built around developing bespoke forged monoblock wheels for Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles. The UV-1 and UV-2 were the first results - two distinct wheel architectures designed to complement Urban's wide-body and aero conversion programmes. The partnership is underpinned by Vossen's TUV-verified forged wheel design and manufacturing process, which ensures each wheel meets the load and fatigue specifications required for luxury SUV applications.

Vossen UV-1 Design and Engineering: Deep-Dish Multi-Spoke Forged Monoblock

The UV-1 is characterised by its multi-spoke mesh-style architecture, with spokes arranged at varying depths across the face of the wheel. This creates a strong contrast between polished surfaces at the spoke peaks and the recessed, brushed areas between them. The result is a wheel with strong visual presence when paired with Urban Automotive's bodywork modifications. The deep concave profile emphasises the width of the tyre package and the aggressive stance typical of Urban Automotive builds.

Vossen UV-1 Available Finishes

Five standard transparent powder coat finishes are offered: Satin Black, Light Smoke, Brickell Bronze, Gloss Black, and Vossen Red. Each is a transparent coat applied over the forged aluminum, preserving the forging grain beneath the surface while adding the selected tonal quality. Custom finishes from Vossen's full transparent portfolio of up to 48 colours can be specified for bespoke projects.

Vossen UV-1 Vehicle Fitment: Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Land Rover

The UV-1 is designed for Land Rover and Range Rover applications. The wheel is available with a custom offset and bolt pattern program covering the Range Rover L460, Range Rover Sport L494 and L461, Range Rover Velar, and Discovery Sport.
