RAYS

RAYS is a Japanese wheel manufacturer founded in 1973, widely recognised as one of the world's most respected engineering-driven wheel brands. Based in Osaka, Japan, RAYS operates two performance sub-brands that define its product philosophy: Volk Racing for forged performance wheels, and gramLIGHTS for cast and flow-formed sport wheels.

The Volk Racing brand is the benchmark for forged sport wheels that leverage racing technology. RAYS holds over 200 patents in wheel technology and has supplied wheels to motorsport programmes at the highest level, including Formula 1, WRC, and Super GT. The TE37 - introduced in 1996 - remains one of the most copied wheel designs in automotive history, a testament to the engineering precision that RAYS applies to every product in its lineup.

RAYS manufactures all Volk Racing wheels using its proprietary RAYS Forging Technology, which produces a wheel with a finer grain structure and superior strength-to-weight ratio compared to cast alternatives. Every Volk Racing wheel carries JWL and VIA certification for road use and is produced at RAYS' own facilities in Japan. The gramLIGHTS range applies RAYS' casting expertise to a broader performance market - offering race-inspired designs with strict quality control and the same engineering discipline as the Volk Racing line.
