Vossen EVO-2 Design and Engineering: Stepped Face Profile with Minimal Spokes

The EVO-2's stepped profile is produced by machining the face at a deliberate inward angle from the lip to the hub, creating a pronounced shadow line that accentuates the transition between spoke face and barrel wall. This stepped geometry is most effective on vehicles with wide rear wheel arches, where the arch opening frames the wheel and makes the shadow line a prominent visual element from the exterior. The minimal spoke layout leaves a larger proportion of the face open, reinforcing the depth impression across the 19- to 26-inch diameter range.
