About 3D Design
3D Design is a Japanese tuning and motorsport brand with a development heritage tied directly to BMW's M programme. Every model the brand releases reflects that motorsport lineage — designed to complement the specific geometry, weight distribution, and visual language of each BMW platform rather than fit it by coincidence. The Anniversary 01 is the brand's signature celebration model: instead of producing a new design in-house, 3D Design commissioned BBS — another icon of Japanese precision — to forge it. The result is a wheel that carries the engineering credentials of two brands in one product.
The Anniversary 01 Design
As a monoblock forging, the Anniversary 01 is machined from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminium — no barrel welds, no assembly hardware, no structural seams. The design is presented in two finishes: Gold and Diamond Black, each chosen to complement the Anniversary 01's clean multi-spoke face geometry that reads as both celebratory and technically serious. The wheel was developed specifically for the F80 M3 and F82 M4 platforms, and that specificity is visible in the proportions — every dimension is resolved around the chassis it was built for.
