3SDM Engineering

3SDM engineers each 3.05 FR Series set at its UK facility using 6061-T6 aerospace-grade forged aluminium — the same alloy and heat treatment standard applied across the full FR range. Finite element analysis validates each spoke configuration at the load levels specific to the customer's vehicle, which means the 3.05 is optimised for one car's actual operating loads rather than a generic load case. The 3-piece modular process — independently CNC-machined face, inner barrel, and outer rim — achieves concentricity and strength levels that cast and flow-formed alternatives cannot match at comparable weight.

The 3.05's multi-element spoke design creates strong visual contrast between solid spoke faces and open barrel sections, producing a depth effect that reads differently across the flat-face FR, concave FX2, and extreme X-concave FX3 profiles. FR configuration suits daily performance and track applications; FX2 and FX3 add progressive concavity for stance and show fitment. Optional CNC back-pad pocketing reduces inboard weight without altering the outboard appearance, and an authentication number is machined into the back pad of every finished set.
