HRE Performance Wheels 300 CRBN Design and Engineering: Void-Free VARTM Barrel on Classic Center

The 300 CRBN barrel is produced through HRE's in-house VARTM process, in which resin is drawn under controlled vacuum pressure through a closed-mold carbon fiber preform — eliminating internal voids and achieving a composite laminate of defined density and structural consistency. This controlled infusion method produces barrel walls of uniform thickness and predictable mechanical properties, supporting a verified minimum load rating of 750 kg per wheel. HRE removes the visible carbon seam from the barrel lip and inner surface during production. Each barrel receives a laser-etched serial number for individual identification, and an RFID chip embedded within the structure enables post-sale ownership registration and service record retrieval. The precision-forged 6061-T6 aluminum center is assembled to the barrel with titanium hardware, and Center Lock fitment is available for track applications requiring fast wheel changes.
