505 CRBN

HRE 505 CRBN is a two-piece forged wheel from the Vintage CRBN Series, translating HRE's heritage center designs into carbon fiber barrel technology. The 505 CRBN center draws from HRE's original Vintage collection — one of the most enduring spoke forms in the brand's four-decade history — and pairs it with a CRBN barrel that reduces rotational weight without changing the proportions or character that defined the original.

The CRBN barrel on the 505 CRBN is manufactured at HRE's San Diego facility using a closed-mold pressure-infusion process. The tooling controls fiber-to-resin distribution throughout the cure, producing a structurally uniform barrel free from the bond-line junction that marks the junctions in conventional two-piece alloy wheel constructions. The resulting carbon structure carries a toughened matrix with long-term impact resistance and stable dimensional geometry. Every barrel is embedded with an RFID chip at production for authentication and service logging, and aerospace titanium fasteners join the barrel to the precision-forged 6061-T6 aluminum Vintage center. The 505 CRBN is homologated at 750 kg minimum structural load. Center Lock specifications are available for motorsport applications.

The 505 CRBN is available in diameters from 20 to 23 inches and widths of 9 to 12.5 inches. Barrel coating options: Frozen satin clear and Gloss clear coat. The Vintage aluminum center takes any selection from HRE's full bespoke colour and surface finishing programme. Retail pricing from $7,375 USD per wheel.
