The HX104 center is machined from a precision-forged 6061-T6 billet to a fan-spoke arrangement — bladed spokes radiate outward from the hub flange in a turbine-like pattern, each spoke tapering from root to rim at a controlled rate that balances mass removal against the minimum cross-section required under combined radial, lateral, and torsional loading. The open-face geometry means the full depth of the wheel assembly — from the forged spoke faces to the CRBN® barrel surface behind them — remains visible at all viewing angles, making center and barrel equal contributors to the visual composition. HRE's proprietary CRBN® barrel is secured to the center with aerospace-grade titanium hardware; the barrel is manufactured to defined wall-thickness tolerances with no external seam at the outer lip, maintaining seamless visual continuity.
