Unlike the GEN-06 Monoblock - which fixes all proportions at the initial machining stage - the three-piece variant produces the face, inner barrel, and outer lip as independent components, each finished separately before hardware assembly at Vossen's TUV-verified Miami facility. This construction enables independent finish specification across all three zones: a brushed face against a gloss lip, or contrasting colors between the barrel and the center, all selectable from Vossen's 48-color custom programme. The GEN-06 (3-Piece) is available in 18- to 24-inch diameters and 8.5- to 16-inch widths.

The GEN-06 face uses five broad, flat-profile windows extending from the hub outward to the rim edge. The window cutouts are rectangular in proportion, giving the spoke face a structured, architectural quality that sits between the dense multi-spoke layouts of the GEN-20 and sparser spoke geometries in Vossen's portfolio. The three-piece barrel allows dish depth to be set independently of the spoke face design: the same GEN-06 face can sit flat or deeply concave depending on the barrel specification. This is the key distinction from the GEN-06 Monoblock, where spoke geometry and dish depth are fixed in the same machining pass. Vossen's forging blank carries additional material at the face so that an 8.5-inch GEN-06 (3-Piece) can achieve concave depth equivalent to a 12.5-inch wheel.
