Vossen HF-5 is a flow-formed monoblock wheel from the Hybrid Forged series, engineered for 5-lug cars and performance vehicles. Drawing its design directly from the Vossen S21-01 forged wheel, the HF-5 translates the pocketed spoke geometry and aggressive Y-pattern of its forged counterpart into a flow-formed construction that makes the design accessible across a wider range of vehicles and budgets.

Vossen HF-5 Design and Engineering: Pocketed Spokes and Y-Pattern Construction

The HF-5 features five pocketed spokes arranged in an aggressive Y-pattern, a design language lifted directly from the Vossen S21-01 forged program. Each wheel begins as a cast aluminum blank before hydraulic rollers apply controlled pressure to the barrel as it spins, stretching and compressing the aluminum to refine its grain structure. This Hybrid Forged flow-forming process significantly increases tensile strength compared to standard cast alloy, producing a barrel with strength and weight characteristics closer to full forged construction - at flow-formed pricing.

The HF-5 is offered in Matte Gunmetal and Gloss Black as standard finishes, with Satin Silver, Anthracite, Satin Black, and Satin Bronze available as custom powder coat options. All finishes are applied using Vossen's in-house process at their Miami, FL facility.
