Flow-Formed Construction Scaled for SUV and Crossover Applications

The HFX-1 features spoke geometry tuned for SUV and crossover platforms, where larger diameters and higher load ratings require construction that exceeds standard casting. The flow-formed barrel begins as a cast aluminum blank processed under hydraulic rollers and heat, stretching and compressing the aluminum to refine its grain structure. This Hybrid Forged process produces tensile strength significantly higher than standard cast alloy, appropriate for heavier SUV and crossover applications.
