Flow-Forming for Real-World Strength

The SV is manufactured using BBS's low-pressure casting process, followed by flow-forming of the rim well. This is the same technology BBS brought to the aftermarket in 1996 and has refined over decades of motorsport and OEM supply. During flow-forming, the cast blank is heated and rolled under high pressure, compacting the material and aligning its grain structure. The result is a wheel that is up to 15% lighter than a standard cast equivalent, with a significantly higher strength-to-weight ratio. The SV is also weight-optimised through FEM analysis, ensuring that material is placed where it is needed and removed where it is not.
