RAYS 57DR-X HD

The 57DR-X HD is the heavy-duty specification of the 57DR-X — built on the same six-spoke base design but engineered to a higher structural standard for vehicles that put greater sustained load through the wheel, including large 4WD platforms and camper van conversions where overland and rough-road use is part of the brief.

Heavy Duty Engineering

The HD designation carries measurable structural differences over the standard 57DR-X. The rim flange is reinforced at the outer edge, and per-size concave depths in the spoke profile are tuned to support the additional rim cross-section mass without requiring additional spoke thickness. The 18x9.0J size carries a rated load capacity of 2,600 lbs (approximately 1,180 kg) — a specification that exceeds standard JWL-T commercial vehicle requirements. The 6-hole models carry JWL and JWL-T+R Spec 1 dual certification for mixed-use applications.

Two Finish Options

The 57DR-X HD is offered in Semigloss Black (SB) — a matte-leaning black with reduced gloss that ages well on working 4WDs — and Dark Bronze (Z2), a warm bronze metallic tone that contrasts with both light and dark body colours. Both finishes carry the gramLIGHTS "57" and RAYS logo spoke accents used across the DR-X family.
