HRE Performance Wheels 528 CRBN is a 2-piece forged modular wheel from the 520 CRBN Series, built around a compact paired-spoke center that concentrates visual mass at the hub and creates wide barrel openings between each spoke grouping. Constructed from forged 6061-T6 aluminum at HRE's California facility, the 528 CRBN pairs structural spoke engineering with HRE's CRBN carbon fiber barrel to achieve a weight-optimized two-piece modular wheel with a visually distinctive center pattern.

HRE 528 CRBN Design and Engineering: Paired-Spoke Geometry and Structural Carbon Barrel

The 528 CRBN center groups individual spokes into closely paired sets, each pair creating a defined channel between the spokes that directs the eye toward the carbon barrel behind. This grouping produces a center face with strong visual rhythm and a compact, hub-dominant appearance distinct from the even radial spacing of other 520 CRBN series models. The forged aluminum center is manufactured using HRE's multi-axis CNC process, with spoke surfaces finished to accept the full range of HRE custom colour options. The CRBN barrel is produced using HRE's closed-mold process, which achieves consistent fiber density throughout the barrel wall and eliminates all visible carbon seams at the lip and inner barrel. Titanium assembly hardware is standard. Embedded RFID chip provides lifetime traceability. Load rating: 750 kg minimum. Center Lock available.

HRE 528 CRBN Available Finishes

The CRBN barrel on the 528 CRBN is available in Frozen (satin) and Gloss clear coat. The wide barrel channels created by the paired-spoke geometry give the barrel a prominent surface presence, particularly in Gloss, where the reflective carbon weave fills each channel with directional depth. Frozen produces a cohesive, structural aesthetic well-matched to performance builds where visual restraint is a priority. The spoke center is specified independently, available in any of HRE's standard or custom finish options.
