RAYS Volk Racing ZE40X is a forged aluminum monoblock wheel that extends the ZE40 architecture into SUV, truck, and all-terrain vehicle applications. Built on the same Osaka manufacturing process and held to the same JWL+R Spec 2 standard as the core ZE40, the ZE40X applies additional structural reinforcement at the spoke-to-barrel interface to handle the elevated vertical and lateral loads generated by larger, heavier vehicles. The result is a wheel that carries the forged monoblock precision of Volk Racing into a class of vehicle where such engineering is rarely available.

RAYS Volk Racing ZE40X Design and Engineering

The ZE40X maintains the 10-spoke visual character of the ZE40 family while incorporating geometry adapted for the wider contact patches, higher ride heights, and greater gross vehicle weights of SUV and off-road platforms. RAYS Advanced Machining Technology (A.M.T.) produces the characteristic barrel lettering, and anti-slip bead knurling derived from Formula 1 technology is applied to the spoke faces. Standard black high-speed air valves are specified for high-speed highway use where conventional rubber valves would fail under centrifugal force.
