The ADV05 M.V2 center disc is machined from a single forged aluminum billet at ADV.1's California facility, with seven spoke blanks roughed to shape and then precision-finished to final face geometry in a single setup. The outer barrel is produced separately and joined to the disc with ADV.1's standard assembly fasteners at a junction diameter calculated to isolate wheel flex from disc deformation. Barrel depth is specified per order, allowing the degree of concave dish to be set at the time of manufacture without modifying the spoke geometry.

The seven-spoke count of the ADV05 M.V2 produces seven equal apertures around the disc face, each subtending approximately 51 degrees of arc at the outer barrel. This aperture distribution is particularly effective for brake thermal management: seven equally spaced openings create a more uniform circumferential airflow path across the rotor surface than five or six apertures, where larger arc gaps between spokes create localized high-velocity zones and narrower gaps create low-velocity zones around the same revolution.

The spoke face of each arm is machined as a ruled surface - a developable geometry where every cross-section perpendicular to the spoke centerline is a straight line. This rule-surface profile allows the spoke to taper from a fuller section at the hub shoulder, where torsional stiffness and fastener proximity require material, to a lighter section at the barrel contact, where the primary load is compressive rather than bending. The taper angle is derived from ADV.1's spoke section analysis for the specified diameter and width, not applied cosmetically.

The aperture between adjacent spokes on the ADV05 M.V2 is widest at the outermost diameter and narrows progressively toward the hub center, a geometry that results from the seven arms converging at a single hub boss rather than branching from separate anchor points. This convergence creates a natural frame around the center cap area that draws visual attention toward the hub - a proportional quality associated with multi-spoke sport wheels where the hub area anchors the design rather than disappearing into the disc plane.

In the step-lip configuration, the disc face retreats axially from the outer rim shoulder, creating the concave impression. On the ADV05 M.V2, the axial retreat distance is calibrated so that the spoke surfaces are fully visible within the outer rim boundary when viewed from a three-quarter perspective - the spoke faces do not disappear behind the rim flange at normal road height viewing angles, maintaining the seven-spoke visual identity regardless of dish depth.
