HRE C103 (3-Piece) — Series C1 Three-Piece FMR-X Forged Wheel with Taper-Spoke Architecture

HRE C103 (3-Piece) is the full 3-piece modular specification of the C103 design, a wheel whose spoke pattern draws from HRE's GT and endurance racing programme. The 3-piece build places an independently forged C103 face alongside separately machined outer and inner barrel sections — each component assembled at its respective bolt ring and finished independently. The result is a wheel capable of dimensional configurations and colour programs that are unavailable in the standard 2-piece format.

Taper-Spoke Geometry and 3-Piece Barrel System

The C103 spoke profile is defined by its taper rate from the hub-to-barrel transition — a geometry evolved from tyre load analysis conducted during HRE's endurance programme. In 3-piece form, this forged face pairs with a barrel system whose inner and outer widths are independently adjusted at order, decoupling total wheel width from the offset constraints inherent in a single-barrel design. The outer barrel presents a Round Lip or Flange Lip profile. Both barrel components and the face are manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminium alloy; assembly fasteners are aerospace stainless steel with titanium hardware available. Centerlock drilling is available for dedicated race specifications.

Three-Section Finish Programme

The C103 (3-Piece) provides three individually addressable finish zones: forged face, outer barrel, and inner barrel. Surface treatment selection draws from HRE's full standard catalogue — comprising named options in Gloss, Satin, Textured, Brushed, Stone, Frozen, and Polished categories across the complete colour range. Three-zone builds allow combinations such as polished inner barrel, brushed outer barrel, and powder-coated face in separate colours. Bespoke treatments and paint-matched finishes are accepted at additional cost.

Build Initiation

C103 (3-Piece) orders open with a vehicle specification submission covering make, model, year, target width and diameter for each axle, barrel profile preference, and finish selections for each of the three zones. Hodoor Wheels returns a confirmed fitment check and build quotation prior to committing production. Special finish programs and non-catalogue requests are confirmed at this stage with applicable lead time and cost additions.
