HRE HD188 is a forged 2-piece wheel built specifically for 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton pickup trucks. Custom manufactured to your vehicle's exact fitment requirements, the HD188 combines HRE's proprietary FMR® (Forged Monoblok Rim) barrel technology with a fully forged center face, delivering a wheel that is as engineered as it is distinctive.

HRE HD188 FMR® Barrel Technology

FMR® (Forged Monoblok Rim) is HRE's proprietary one-piece forged barrel system. Produced from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 forged aluminum - the same material used in HRE's monoblock wheel program - the FMR® barrel achieves greater stiffness, reduced mass, and higher concentricity than conventional 3-piece barrels. It eliminates the air seal required by traditional multi-piece designs, resulting in the most capable 2-piece forged wheel construction available for truck applications today.

HRE HD188 Design and Engineering

The HD188 features visible assembly hardware and an angular multi-spoke center face designed for the proportions of full-size truck platforms. FMR® barrel options include a standard Angled lip or an optional Machined lip finish, allowing for customised edge profiles. Center cap choices include the standard HRE cap or an optional Engraved billet cap. Every HD188 is CNC machined to your vehicle-specific offset, width, bolt pattern, and hub bore, and is fully compatible with OE TPMS hardware and lug hardware. Each wheel carries a Lifetime Limited Structural Warranty and a 2-Year Finish Warranty.

The FMR® barrel can be specified in a contrasting finish to the center face, enabling refined or aggressive two-tone combinations. Custom colors beyond the standard palette are available on request.
