The Lightest 18-Inch Flow-Formed Monoblock in the 2Forge Range

The 2Forge ZF5 is an 18-inch flow-formed monoblock with a starting weight of 8.1 kg - the lowest of any wheel in the 2Forge 18-inch Scotland range. Four width options are produced: 8J to 11J. Twelve surface finishes are available from the factory. Each ZF5 is manufactured against the individual customer's vehicle data; PCD, offset, and hub bore are all machined per order, not from pre-cut stock.

2Forge ZF5 Design and Engineering: Minimum Weight, Maximum Integrity

The ZF5 was conceived as a study in minimum mass for the 18-inch diameter class, and the design choices across the wheel face reflect that objective throughout. The spoke geometry is narrower and more open than comparable flow-formed designs, reducing face mass while maintaining the cross-sectional area needed to carry the cornering and braking loads generated by modern performance cars. The concave profile is pronounced but precisely controlled - deep enough to provide visual impact and allow clearance for larger brake caliper setups, but not so extreme that it compromises structural depth in the spoke roots. The 2Forge flow-forming process further reduces mass in the barrel wall by compressing and aligning the alloy grain structure under pressure, which achieves greater tensile strength from less material and produces the 8.1 kg starting weight - the lowest figure in the 2Forge 18-inch lineup.

2Forge ZF5 Technical Specifications

The ZF5 is a single-piece flow-formed 18-inch monoblock, produced at 2Forge's Scotland site. Width variants: 8J, 9J, 10J, 11J. Declared minimum mass: 8.1 kg. Standards compliance: JWL and VIA load-rated. Five-bolt fitment patterns in active production include 5x100, 5x108, 5x112, 5x114.3, 5x120, and 5x130 among others; further PCDs accepted by request. Centre bore and offset values are specified individually against each buyer's vehicle.

2Forge ZF5 Available Finishes

The ZF5 is available in a comprehensive palette of twelve finishes: Gloss Black, Matt Black, Gloss Gunmetal, Matt Gunmetal, Gloss Bronze, Matt Bronze, Silver, Matt Silver, Gold, Matt Gold, White, and Matt White. All finishes are applied in-house at the 2Forge Scotland facility and are available across the full ZF5 size range.

2Forge ZF5 Vehicle Fitment: BMW 1M, BMW 335i, Audi S1

The ZF5 has been fitted to the BMW 1M, BMW 335i, and Audi S1, and is well-suited to the broader range of 18-inch performance vehicles including the Volkswagen Golf R, Renault Megane RS, Honda Civic Type R, and comparable European hot hatches and fast saloons. The ZF5's light weight makes it a particularly strong choice for track-day and motorsport applications where unsprung mass reduction is a priority.
