Where Flow-Forming Meets BBS's Forged Line

The RF sits within the BBS Forged Line - the brand's flagship platform, produced at BBS Japan using a multi-stage flow-forming process. Each wheel begins as a billet of 6000-series aluminium, which is heated and flow-formed under extreme pressure to create a dense, fine-grained metal structure. The RF is then back-milled to remove material that is not required for strength, reducing weight without compromising structural integrity. The result is a one-piece wheel that weighs as little as 18.2 lbs (8.3 kg) in its 18x9 configuration - a figure that directly improves acceleration, braking, and steering response. BBS develops this geometry in-house, and no replica producer has access to the tooling.
